Sadia

dating tip by Sadia:
Get prepared for dating. If you really want to succeed in the dating game, be ready to commit to dating. Half-heartedness won't work. In fact, it won’t even get you half-way. If you really want to date, put some effort into it. Do some research and think about what you want out of dating. Prepare yourself for the inevitable rejection we all face at some point in dating and commit not to give up.

Dating Tip by Ambreen:
Get your act together. Begin a regime of looking your best. Join a gym, read health magazines, get fit and start a diet. Get your hair cut or styled and begin a new regime of good grooming or beauty treatment. Though it will not find you a date in itself, you will feel a million times more confident about yourself, and others can sense that.

Join clubs, societies, sports events, drama groups -- anything that might help you meet like-minded potential partners. You will not meet people by staying indoors and playing video games – many have tried and failed at this approach.

Do try to always look your best and be punctual. Showing up late or looking messy gives the impression that you don't care -- and, if that's the case, why go out with this person in the first place?

Do try to enjoy yourself on dates. Yes, finding your soul mate is serious business, and it can sometimes even be a scary endeavor, but keep in mind that this is supposed to be fun

Apparently if you put lemon juice in your hair and go out in the sun it will lighten it, but I've never tried this. rather than bleaching your hair use blonde dye, then the worst thing that would happen would be it will go green (in which case you wash it with ketchup and it goes normal again!) Or just get it done professionally.

When I go on a 4 mile run (which is approx 6.44 km) my pedometer records it
at about 4.63km, when I know it's definetly 4 miles. How far have I really run?

How to deal with it if the guy I'm dating has a good job and likes going out while I'm a really poor part time student with no permanent job? I don't want him to think he has to pay for everyhting ?

Ideally you should sit down with them a couple of months prior to Christmas, before they've had chance to buy you something, and tell them that as you're broke at the moment, you might have to put a hold on exchanging gifts this year. You may have left it a bit late though if you're talking about this Christmas, as most people have bought their presents by now.

Try the suitcase aisle at your local Wal-Mart/Costco/Target, etc. Also, check the trashbag aisle or the plastic storage aisle (the spots with the big plastic tubs, etc). They will be cheapest there. If cost isn't as much a factor, you can check the stores that specialize in luggage (American Touristor, etc.) they will have those type of bags, and the roll-up vaccum bags for pressing air out of the bags of clothes to make them lay flatter. I don't find these to be too effective myself, but some people swear by them!

Say "Mum, please let me pay this time - you're always so generous, you're a lovely mother, and I really would love to treat you!"

Najmah

Just be upfront if you can't afford it. If he really likes you he will understand. Make it clear to him that you don't want him to pay for everything, but you can't keep up with him financially. And keep your eyes open for a good job!
